Whole House Control Systems

Integrated homes typically have multiple rooms that are all wired back to a centralized distribution area. The benefit of this design is that sources can be shared and control is simplified. These clients can stream movies, sporting events, or music to multiple zones from one source, or each room can enjoy something different.

Cumming client built a new house and requested a whole house audio and video system, controlled with Android tablets. We designed and installed a centralized A/V system with six zones of audio and four TVs, all sharing sources thru an HDMI matrix switch. We also optimized their home network with Gigabit Ethernet network switches and wireless repeaters. All of the equipment is hidden away in a closet, out of sight for a clean, un-cluttered look.

Acworth client was finishing their basement and requested a distributed audio and video system, controlled with Android tablets. They also wanted to be able to stream content from a laptop, sitting on the bar, to any of the three TVs in the basement. They also wanted a large flat screen TV mounted such that the display could swing around for a small dedicated surround sound theater, or pointed toward the open bar area for a larger gathering. We designed and installed a centralized A/V system with four zones of audio and three TVs, all sharing sources thru an HDMI matrix switch. All of the equipment is hidden away in a closet, out of sight for a clean, un-cluttered look.

Suwanee client updated their home audio and video system from analog to digital, and added control with their iPad tablets. We designed and installed a hidden, centralized A/V system with streaming movies and music, three zones of audio, and lighting control. All of the equipment is hidden away in a cabinet, out of sight for a clean, un-cluttered look.

Living Room Media with iPad Remote

Surround sound receivers offer superior High Definition TV and movie watching experiences by reproducing a sound stage that wraps around the audience. However, they can complicate the control of the system, often forcing multiple remotes to be used. We offer a unique universal remote control bundle of products, including the hardware, software, and programming to eliminate this frustration.

Cumming client moved into a new house and requested that all flat screens be hung on the wall, wires hidden, streaming movies and music, and an easy to use remote using their iPad tablets.

Milton client moved into a new house and requested that all flat screens be hung on the wall, wires hidden, streaming movies and music, and an easy to use remote using their iPad tablets.

Buckhead client moved into a new house and requested that all flat screens be hung on the wall, wires hidden, streaming movies and music, and an easy to use remote using their Xbox One voice control.

Basement Theater with iPad Universal Remote

Dedicated home theaters can be the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of the day. Large projection screens or flat screen TVs can immerse our senses into other worlds and allow us to forget our worries. Our designs deliver this escapism.

Dacula client updated their home theater audio and video system from analog to digital, added a 3D and 4k up-converting surround receiver, and added control with their iPad tablets. We upgraded the wiring, added a distributed system with six zones of audio and three TVs.

Suwanee client finished their home theater system with a projector, surround receiver, in-wall speakers, streaming movies and music, and added control with their iPad tablets. We also added a distributed system with six zones of audio through the house.

Milton client updated their basement with a 75” TV, in-wall surround sound, and the equipment hidden in a cabinet in an adjacent room. Streaming movies and music are controlled through both of their iPads.

Offices

Commercial clients have us add TVs to their lobbies and conference rooms, music to their waiting rooms and hallways, and computer network data jacks throughout their offices.

User Interfaces

Tablets and smart phones have replaced traditional universal remotes for many reasons. They are always on us, or nearby. The interface is familiar and fast. They use our home Wi-Fi network instead of a redundant wireless network. The screens are bigger and more easily read. Here is a sampling of our client's control interface screens.

Landry Luxury Electronics Project Archives
